Recipes of Old – Oatmeal Bread
Oatmeal Bread

My mom gifted me a whole gallon sized plastic bag full of recipes that she has accumulated over the years. I’ve decided to share these here in hopes that some of these will be enjoyed by my readers and bring something new to their tables. Not all of these have been prepared by me, but I’ll let you know which ones I have as we progress along. Enjoy!

Oatmeal Bread

Homemade bread is a treat at my house. When I have the extra time, I love to make my own bread, it fills the house with the most delectable smells. Creamy butter spread over a slice of fresh hot bread is just as perfect as desert. I could probably eat an entire loaf by myself this way.

Oatmeal bread is on the top tier of my favorites for fresh homemade bread. With Autumn fast approaching, I’ll probably be setting time aside to bake breads. This recipe is part of the collection from my mom and definitely worth the sharing. If you love fresh homemade bread as much as I do, you’ll love this Oatmeal Bread.
