An Upgrade to our Kitchen
Had the most delightful date day with my husband yesterday. There’s something about getting out of the house when the sun is shining, that’s medicine for the soul. We did just that. Took a drive on the back highway to Twin Falls. The speed limit is 65 once you get out of town, but I had the cruise control set at 55. We weren’t in hurry and wanted to soak in the scenery and the rays. Our date day ended with an amazing and exciting Upgrade for our Kitchen.
Oil & Vinegar Bar
We had decided to go to one of our favorite Kitchen stores, Rudy’s. It’s located in the old historic downtown section of Twin Falls. Their full name is: Rudys’ A Cook’s Paradise, and they live up to that expectation. The last two years have hindered a lot of people from getting out and about and doing what we all thought was normal for us, so I’m enjoying getting back to that. It has been that long since we visited the store and we were ecstatic to find new additions. Rudy’s now features an Oil and Vinegar Bar! I will definitely encourage you to visit one if you never have. The taste, the flavors, the aromas, the experience! I’ve got to go back for more. The Oil and Vinegar Bar was the highlight of my day. They also have one of the largest gaggles of kitchen gadgets that are so fun to peruse.
Sensory Heaven
My husband and I decided on three infused oils to start off with along with two seasonings. I cannot wait to try these!
We got the Garlic & Herb infused olive oil along with Herb & Garlic seasoning. The Wild Rosemary infused olive oil along with the Mediterranean Rosemary seasoning. And then after a friendly chat with another customer at the store we decided to get a bottle of the Sicilian Lemon infused olive oil. The man I struck up a friendly conversation with after he asked for the largest bottle of the Sicilian Lemon Oil, said if he could, he would drink this oil, it was so delicious. After sampling it, I agree. The Sicilian Lemon Oil is so light and refreshing with it’s lemony flavor, you could just sip away or have it as a cocktail, it’s that delcious.

The staff at Rudy’s has alwasy been so pleasant and helpful on each of our visits, but there was just something extra yesterday. From the moment you walk into the store, you’re either greeted at the front door welcoming you in, or at the backdoor you’re welcomed with the fresh aroma from the live kitchen and the cook who’s happily inviting you to eat. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, inclusive and an overall fulfilling experience.
