Garlic & Herb Mini Pinwheels
These Garlic & Herb Mini Pinwheels will look like you’ve spent the time making them from scratch and give your guest that “fancy” look and delicious taste, but is a cinch to throw together. Sometimes when you’re wanting to have a “fancy” looking dish, you don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen preparing it. If you’re like me, quick, simple and elegant looking dishes are the way to go. These start with a package of crescent roll dough.
The Garlic & Herb Mini Pinwheels are a great alternative to dinner rolls or for a snack tray. My husband and I served these for Thanksgiving Dinner this year, and they were delicious.
As a quick and easy dish, this falls in the category of 30 minutes or less for food prep. These are some of my favorite dishes to make. Below is the recipe. Let me know what you think.
Garlic & Herb Mini Pinwheels
Ingredients
- 1 pkg (8 oz.) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 3 Tbsp Unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1 tsp Dried Rosemary
- 1 tsp Minced Garlic
- 2 Tbsp Chopped, Fresh Parsley
- ¼ tsp Salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 380°F.
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the butter, oregano, rosemary, garlic, parsley and salt.
- Unroll the crescent dough, and press to smooth the perforations to create one continuous sheet of dough.
- Spread the butter mixture over the dough.
- Roll the dough up, starting from the long side.
- Use a serrated knife and cut the roll into 12 equal slices.
- Transfer the slices to the baking sheet and bake for 9-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
- Refrigerate any leftovers.
