Recipes of Old – Snickerdoodles

My mom gifted me a whole gallon sized plastic bag full of recipes that she has accumulated over the years. I’ve decided to share these here in hopes that some of these will be enjoyed by my readers and bring something new to their tables. Not all of these have been prepared by me, but I’ll let you know which ones I have as we progress along. Enjoy!

I have few cookies that I really enjoy, the Snickerdoodle is one! The soft buttery cookie full of cinnamon goodness melts in your mouth and leaves you desiring more. What’s not good about a sweet cinnamon taste like a Snickerdoodle?

The holiday season is the time that I will bake goodies like cookies or pies. Outside this time, I’m not fond of baking so much, I leave that specialty to my husband. I think all the smells that the holidays encompass bring about the festivities in a more nostalgic way.
