My mom gifted me a whole gallon sized plastic bag full of recipes that she has accumulated over the years. I’ve decided to share these here in hopes that some of these will be enjoyed by my readers and bring something new to their tables. Pumpkin Bars with Ready to Spread Cream Cheese Frosting
As Autumn approaches, so does the pumpkin season. I love a delicious pumpkin pie, pumpkin roll, pumpkin bread and especially pumpkin bars. There’s something about the pumpkin and cream cheese icing that just goes together. Pair those along with a fresh hot cup of coffee and I’m in food heaven.
I don’t fix these enough because I’d probably end up in heaven sooner than I’d like from over indulgence or premature death from obesity due to all the good food! (Is it just me, or does anyone else just want to eat all the good food?). These pumpkin bars are not difficult to make and most of the ingredients you’ll have on hand for the fall and winter holiday season anyhow.
